Recently, the second phase of the Guangdong Province Graduate Summer School on “Smart Agriculture and Industry–University–Research Integration,” hosted by Zhongkai University of Agricultural Engineering, was successfully held. Focusing on cutting-edge technologies in smart agriculture and their practical applications in the industry, a team of faculty and students visited Guangzhou Guangxing Group to conduct a case study on smart poultry farming and carry out an on-site enterprise survey, thereby establishing a high-quality bridge between academic research at universities and real-world practices in modern agriculture.

On August 11, 2026, at the Guangzhou Guangxing Group’s study‑tour event, Mr. Huang Xingbiao, Chief Engineer of Guangzhou Guangxing Group, delivered a special presentation on smart poultry‑raising case studies to all teachers and students. Centering on a large‑scale, end‑to‑end smart farming system, Mr. Huang provided a systematic overview, drawing on real‑world examples from several major, fully implemented farming projects. He broke down the operational logic and technological advantages of modern, intelligent poultry farms for students from Zhongkai University, vividly illustrating how this comprehensive suite of smart livestock‑management equipment provides robust, hard‑core support for the scaling, standardization, and unmanned development of contemporary agriculture.

Subsequently, the study‑tour participants entered Guangxing’s production workshop and the smart‑equipment exhibition area for on‑site observation and learning. The students closely examined the operational principles of a complete suite of intelligent farming equipment, gaining a firsthand understanding of the technical intricacies behind the automation, digitalization, and unmanned transformation of livestock machinery. They also engaged in thoughtful reflection on the intersection between research topics and market demands, truly achieving the goal of “stepping into the front lines of industry to learn meaningfully and gain insight through research.”

Looking ahead, Guangzhou Guangxing Group will continue to deepen industry–university–research collaboration, fostering the seamless integration of cutting-edge academic research with real-world aquaculture and livestock‑raising applications.
